Have A Seat - original 
This stand alone original is an intimate graphite pencil drawing inspired by the suggestive storytelling of a song. This particular piece was created at a turning point in Katie’s career, and did in fact birth the idea of Katie’s open ended portrait collection Echoing A Coda which commenced in January of 2026. 
Rendered entirely in graphite on A4 paper, the piece explores tension, invitation, and sensuality through shading and expressive line work. Soft gradients and carefully layered pencil strokes create depth and texture, drawing the viewer into a scene that feels both private and performative.
